Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026. This is a plain-language description of how the site works, not legal advice.
Who this covers
This policy describes Berzerker Fantasy Football at berzerkerfantasy.com. The site is operated by Jole (John Olson). It is a login-gated workspace, not a public social network.
Information the service uses
- Workspace accounts: username and a salted
scryptpassword hash stored in Postgres. The site does not store your password in plain text. - Sessions: a signed, HTTP-only cookie named
bezerker_sessionthat lasts about 12 hours. The iOS app stores a bearer token in the device Keychain instead of that cookie. - Season-pass members: the email address used to check Stripe billing status and start checkout.
- Workspace data you save: rankings, boards, picks, league settings, and related preferences, stored as a versioned document per workspace.
- League connections: ESPN or Sleeper league identifiers and the roster or settings data those providers return when you connect a league.
- Provider calls made on the server: FantasyPros rankings and, for Edge, transformed sportsbook consensus snapshots. API keys stay on the server. ESPN private-league cookies used by the operator are server environment values and are not written into the browser.
- Payments: Stripe processes season-pass checkout. Berzerker stores subscription entitlement fields needed to decide whether a member email currently has access.
- Hosting logs: the Vercel host may retain request logs (IP address, user agent, URL) as part of running the site.
How that information is used
It is used to sign you in, restore the correct workspace, import league context, refresh rankings, process the season pass, and keep the product working. The service is not an advertising network. This page does not claim that a third-party host never logs requests.
Cookies
The essential session cookie above is required for workspace sign-in on the web. The installable app also uses a web app manifest and may cache the application shell in a service worker. There is no separate self-serve cookie manager on this site.
Sharing
League hosts (ESPN, Sleeper), ranking providers (FantasyPros), payment processing (Stripe), and hosting (Vercel, the Postgres database) receive the data needed to provide those features. We do not sell your account or workspace contents as a marketing list. We will not invent a “we never share data” claim that would contradict those processors.
Retention and access
Account hashes, grants, and workspace documents remain until an administrator changes or removes them. There is no self-serve account-deletion form in the product today. Password resets are also administrator-handled. Season-pass members can manage Stripe billing through the billing portal after continuing with email.
Children
The service is aimed at adults running fantasy football workspaces. It is not directed at children under 13.
Questions
There is no public support inbox on this page. Workspace users should contact their workspace administrator. Season-pass questions that are actually billing questions belong in Stripe’s portal after you continue with the member email.
