Weekly editorial tools

Premortem and JohnStradamus: weekly editorial tools, explained.

Berzerker Fantasy Football keeps two weekly editorial layers next to the league-aware board. This page explains what they are. The tools themselves stay behind sign-in: they are written against workspace rankings and league context, not as a public blog or a sportsbook.

Research and entertainment only. Edge expected-value figures and JohnStradamus / Premortem write-ups are research or editorial tools. They are not a sportsbook, not a bet slip, and not gambling advice. Rankings and write-ups can be wrong. Nothing on this page is a recommendation to place a wager, publish weekly locks, or treat Berzerker as a betting desk.

Weekly pressure-test

The Premortem

The Premortem is a weekly pressure-test next to Berzerker’s league-aware board. The prompt is simple: assume the games already happened, then ask what you will wish you had seen coming. It is written against the rankings and league context in a signed-in workspace — scoring, roster rules, and the players on that board — not against a public CMS or a generic “everyone’s league” slate.

Each week the tool is editorial homework, not a scoreboard. You can look at where consensus and a workspace view disagree, write down what would make a call look foolish later, and keep those notes in the account that generated them. Scheduled runs exist so the same workspace can return to a week. None of that archive is published on this site.

This page is a teaser, not the report. Signed-in users open Premortem from the in-season tools after they connect a league. The public site does not list weekly calls, player names, or model output from the Premortem API. Crawlers should treat this explainer as the public record.

Treat it as analysis and entertainment. It is not a sportsbook, not a bet slip, and not gambling advice. It does not recommend odds, and it does not publish weekly locks. Rankings and write-ups can be wrong. For the math behind the board those notes sit beside, read methodology. To import the league the notes are written against, sign in and connect ESPN or Sleeper.

Weekly prediction copy

JohnStradamus

JohnStradamus is the weekly prediction layer in the same lab family as the Premortem. A consensus list restates the field. JohnStradamus is supposed to make specific, falsifiable calls — the kind you can look back at after Sunday and say whether they happened. Those calls stay inside a signed-in workspace. There is no public archive of prior weeks on this site, and there is no blog feed of weekly slates.

The copy is editorial on purpose. It sits next to league-aware ranks so a call can be judged against the scoring and roster rules you actually play, not against a one-size-fits-all board. That still does not make the call a guarantee of fantasy points, wins, or draft outcomes. About and methodology already say the same thing about rankings, start/sit, and Edge: research aids can be wrong.

Berzerker is not a sportsbook, is not licensed as a gambling operator, and does not accept wagers. JohnStradamus is not a bet slip, not financial advice, and not a recommendation to place a wager. Public pages will not publish odds, player locks, or actionable gambling picks.

If you want the weekly write-up, sign in to an authorized workspace and connect the ESPN or Sleeper league you already play. If you want the ranking idea those write-ups sit on, start with how it works and methodology. Soft door only: the tools stay behind login.

There is no separate blog to subscribe to here, and there is no public Premortem report feed. Sign in to an authorized workspace, then connect ESPN or Sleeper to open these tools. For how the ranking board is built, see methodology; for the import path, see how it works.
